POEM: CRIMES AGAINST GRAMMAR

Be not so tense

Subjunctive

U might have been guilty

if having used

were

Accused then

Slapped with a gerund

when an infinitive would do

Which participle was in your past?

perfect

brackets separating truth from tentative

The attorney for the preposition

circumlocuted

rhetorically

asking

where was the predicate

on the nite in question?

The idiom witness testified in defense

of capitals

full stop/

upper open and shut lower case

Not a matter of an indirect object

in conjunction with the passive

Make no mistake

ellipsis will get u nowhere…

Be right or get left.

The statement is imperative.
